Did you play?

1. Which sentence is correct?

Last Saturday it rained all day, so Oliver and his sister Grace stayed at home. In the morning, they tidied their bedrooms and helped their dad in the kitchen. They baked a chocolate cake. In the afternoon, Grace wanted to watch a film, but Oliver preferred to play a board game. In the end, they played the game first and watched the film after dinner. Oliver didn't like the film, but he loved the cake!
