Con he, she e it, el verbo lleva -s: I play → she plays. Si acaba en -ch, -sh, -s, -x u -o, añade -es (watch → watches, go → goes); si acaba en consonante + y, cambia la y por -ies (study → studies), pero play → plays. Have se convierte en has y do, en does.
Para negar: don't / doesn't + verbo sin -s (He doesn't eat meat.). Para preguntar: Do / Does (Does he eat meat? Yes, he does.). Después de like, love y hate usamos el verbo con -ing: I like swimming.
Ollie is twelve and he lives in Cardiff, in Wales. On weekdays he gets up at seven o'clock. He always has cereal for breakfast, but he never drinks milk because he doesn't like it. He goes to school by bus with his sister, Megan.
Ollie loves sport. He plays basketball on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and he sometimes goes swimming at the weekend. Megan doesn't like sport very much. She prefers music: she plays the piano and she sings in the school choir. In the evening, they usually do their homework together.
