Para comparar dos cosas usamos adjetivo + -er + than: A bike is smaller than a car.
Con los adjetivos largos usamos more + adjetivo: This book is more interesting than that one.
Hi! I'm Emma and I live in London. My cousin Pablo lives in Madrid. London is bigger than Madrid: more people live there. But Madrid is sunnier, and in summer it is much hotter. In London it rains a lot, so the parks are very green.
Pablo's flat is smaller than my house, but it has got a big terrace. Pablo says Madrid is more exciting than London. I don't agree!
