Para decir qué hay en un lugar usamos There is con una cosa (There is a park.) y There are con varias (There are two cafés.). Para preguntar: Is there a cinema? — Yes, there is. / No, there isn't.

Para decir dónde está un lugar: next to (al lado de), between (entre) y opposite (enfrente de).
